Tamar Iashvili

Tamar Iashvili is a practicing attorney in one of the leading firms in Tbilisi, LPA Law Firm. Tamar specializes in private and administrative Law, including: Litigation; Arbitration; IP Law; Corporate Law; Real Estate and Construction; Immigration Law; and Labor Law.

Tamar is an instructor at the University of Georgia and teaches Legal English and Moot Court courses. She is also involved in international moot court competitions, both as a judge and a coach; currently, she co-coaches the University of Georgia team for ELSA’s John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO Law.

Tamar has her master’s degree (with honors) from the Law School of the University of Georgia, where she defended her master’s thesis on Recognition and Protection of Well-known Trademarks. During her master’s studies she participated in five international moot court competitions. Tamar has her bachelor’s degree from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law.
